A really cool, immersive visual and audio experience / event is going down in Salina. Here's the description from the Temple Projects' IG post.
Bathe in sound under a new installation by Mason Talbott @masonlitthat and Daniel Picking @daniel.picking presented in the Theater Auditorium of the Salina Masonic Temple (336. S. Santa Fe).
A vibrant multimedia installation featuring Mason's LED RGB floodlights and work from Daniel's ongoing series Mnemonic Resonances envelops the auditorium in shifting patterns of light and shadow to create an immersive environment that reframes the historic interior.
The immersive environment will be enhanced by the sounds of:
Garrett Breese - droning folk funk soul blues inspired
Anna Vanessa - glitchy droning viola
Bring your own pillows, sleeping bag, yoga mat, or chair to get comfy under the installation as you soak in the immersive sound and light environment.
When you arrive, enter through door marked "main entrance" and proceed up the stairs to the third floor, colorful lights will guide the way.
Presented by Temple Projects @templeprojects.art, an independent, artist-run project space based inside the historic Masonic Temple in downtown Salina, Kansas. https://templeprojects.art/
